We are pleased to announce the Fudan-ACS Publications Symposium: Optical Probes and Biomedical Imaging Symposium (OPBIS 2025), hosted by Fudan University in collaboration with ACS. This prestigious event will convene leading pioneers and experts in the fields of chemical biology, biomaterials, and biophotonics to address critical topics such as optical probes, molecular diagnostics, and biomedical imaging.

Optical probes are revolutionizing the way we approach molecular imaging, providing non-invasive, real-time insights into biological processes at the cellular and molecular levels. Their integration with advanced biomedical imaging techniques is opening new frontiers in drug discovery, disease intervention, early diagnosis, therapeutic monitoring, and personalized medicine. This rapidly advancing field is closely connected to developments in analytical chemistry, chemical biology, and bioengineering, with each discipline contributing to the refinement of tools and technologies.

OPBIS 2025 will serve as a premier platform for in-depth discussions on cutting-edge research, technological advancements, and future directions in biomedical science. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with renowned speakers, participate in insightful sessions, and network with peers from academia and industry.

This symposium represents a unique opportunity to contribute to and shape the future of biomedical imaging and related disciplines. We invite researchers, academics, and professionals to join us in fostering collaboration and driving innovation in this rapidly evolving field.

We look forward to welcoming you to this landmark event.

The Meeting Chairs will recognize the best poster presentations and select the winners based on the posters’ technical content, appearance, graphic excellence and overall quality.

-Poster Presentation Guidelines

  • Size: 90 cm (width) × 120 cm (height).

  • Submitted posters should include the title, authors, abstract, introduction/background, materials and methods, result, discussion, conclusion/summary, acknowledgement, etc.

  • Display the poster in large print so it may be read from a distance. Print 'title' and 'authors' in extra-large print across the top of your display.

-Review Process

  • Please submit the poster to opbis@fudan.edu.cn by May 15, 2025, with the subject line as: OPBIS Poster Submission- [Presenter Name]-[Affiliation].

  • Notification of acceptance will be disseminated via email by May 20, 2025. Selected authors are required to prepare their posters according to the guidelines provided, display them in the designated poster exhibition area at the specified time, and participate in the evaluation for “the Outstanding Poster Award”.
